FAQ about the Athletes' Commission
Is membership mandatory?
No, membership is voluntary. You can sign up if you want to be actively involved. All athletes benefit from the Commission's work, regardless of whether they are members themselves.
How much time does membership require?
Before the Games, there are a few virtual meetings. During the Games, you will be on-site anyway, so the additional time commitment is very limited. We plan everything to be manageable!
Can I still sign up later?
Ideally during Registration for the National Games. However, those interested later can also contact us – we are open and welcome any commitment!
What if I'm shy?
That's perfectly fine! You won't be left alone. Mentors will support you, and you can contribute in your own way – not every task requires public speaking.
Is there an age limit?
No! Athletes of all ages can become members. We benefit from different perspectives and experiences, which is why we value this diversity.
